USER RESEARCH: My user research experience includes depth user interviews, contextual inquiry, multi-device usability testing and eye-tracking.
INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE: Bringing order and simplicity to complexity is one of the things that first attracted me to the UX discipline. How information is labelled, grouped, connected and aligned with a strong content strategy is central to the way I work. My experience includes workshopping with stakeholders and users in open and closed card sorts.
SKETCHING & STORYBOARDING: My thinking always starts with pen, paper and collaboration. I sketch with users and stakeholders quickly on paper and at the whiteboard - working-up the drawings in-between the sessions for further discussion and feedback. I also use storyboarding as a way to rapidly explore and convey key points in the customer experience.
WORKSHOPPING: An experienced presenter and facilitator, I plan and deliver workshops with small and large groups of stakeholders and users.
WIREFRAMING: Hi-fidelity static wireframes still play a role in detailing and documenting complex ideas and interactions and I create these using Omnigraffle 6, Balsamiq, Visio . Where appropriate I will create detailed interactive wireframes using Axure 7.
